A door in Morocco

This may seem similar to any door that you would see in the old cities of Morocco but there is one difference. Look carefully and you will see two door knockers. Most doors have one and some don't have any so why two? Our guide said that one knocker was used by women and the other was used by men. This meant that even without looking the people or person at home knew the gender of the person knocking.

This is, to me, is a door of Taqwa/piety and it is proof of who we once were. We protected our eyes against something that could cause us harm and that is Tawqa.

There are many gems such as this in our Islamic history that have been lost. It's up to us to find them again and inform others.
